Ada: my red plastic friend

Do you guys know Ada? Ada is a plastic doll that’s sent all around the globe for travels by her lovely owner Adeline. Go check out her website to learn more about her story!

Ada spent a week with me in Rio (a very clowdy and rainy week, the poor thing) in november of 2011. Check out our adventures (and see more pics here): 

I also took Ada to Inhotim – a unique museum complex in Minas Gerais in the middle of a beautiful botanical garden. Together we saw amazing paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, videos and installations of Brazilian and international artists. (see more Inhotim pics here)

Hara Donuts

I have a true passion for all things Japan and always loved the japanese minimalist way of life. I’ve never been to Japan, but I’d definitely love to visit Hara Donuts, a chain of super cute stores specialized in donuts. There are several regular and seasonal flavors, including: tofu, carrots, spinach, caffe mocha, kiwi and sakura (cherry blossom). I could live inside one of these beautiful shops!

There’s something about handmade soaps that I love, especially if they are so carefully created and packaged as these from Morning Calm. I adore the simplicity and beauty of them, even more after knowing that asian herbs and organic tea leaves were used in their composition. Beautiful work Hwasoon!
