I really like this loft in Williamsburg, New York – a project by Elizabeth Roberts Architecture & Design. The owners, chef Ted Lee and sculptor E.V. Day, use the space as workspaces for both of their disciplines and as a comfortable home. I wouldn’t mind doing the same in such a beautiful setting!
industrial feel
open shelving made of reclaimed pine
plenty of natural light ~ and this amazing lamp (a chandelier frame spray-painted white)
his and hers workspaces ~ separated from the living spaces by sliding partition
the dining table is a IKEA wood table + beautiful dining chairs by Knoll
vintage living room set by Austrian Art Deco designer Paul T. Frankl

Back in the 1300’s, Europeans decorated their homes with skulls as a reminder to celebrate life. What better way to remind yourself to have a good time than this biting bronze skull bottle opener from Cool Material?
« Funny that my last craving also involved a bottle opener, remember? »
