The economist Helen Shifrin worked in oil companies and banks, but it was during a training period of her MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that she realized how people valued having a healthy body and mind. Inspired by her colleagues who were beginning to open their own businesses, Helen created BioFoodLab, the company responsible for the beautiful Take a Bite snack bars.
The bars are 100% natural, with no gluten, added sugar or preservatives. In addition to being healthy, they have super inspired packaging, created by Peter Gregson Studio. I’m a fan of snack bars (yay to the afternoon snack). Even more so if they look beautiful and are healthy.
*fun fact: In french, the world bite means the male sexual organ. I guess that banana package (there had to be a banana!) will not look so good to the french market, right? :)
