Marilyn Monroe, the beach and a pretty umbrella. Love these beautiful pictures, taken by Andre de Dienes in 1949.
Marilyn, you gorgeous, this month you’ll be the star of my header!

I decided to surprise a dear friend with a spooky (and cute) package this halloween. Last year we made a candy swap (remember?) so, this year I went for something a little less sweet, but hopefully still adorable.
The package had: cute little paper monsters, The Necromancer – a novel by Jonathan L. Howard, Gourmet chocolates from Cacau Show, adorable spider earrings, vampire teeth candy from Fini and a glowing skull.
I hope you really liked it Lindsey! ♥
A great Halloween to everyone!
I spotted this easy and fun DIY project at Hey Look and I had to share it with you! Isn’t this a lovely idea to do with mini foil baking cups? Just squish the centers of baking cups to make mini flowers or make little prize ribbons with two half opened baking cups and write small messages on them. Prettiest package decoration ever!
Can you handle so much cuteness?
1. Rilakkuma Family, made by Sheree.
2. A Halloween especial, made by Mari Miyazawa.
3. Apples bento, made by Maki Ogawa (a.k.a. lucky sundae).
4. Cute tigers, via Cut Out + Keep.
I think red lips are beautiful, especially if you have the ‘matte effect’, that gives an amazing opaque finish. Despite using very little makeup, I can’t help admiring beautiful examples, such as these models at the backstage of this Jason Wu runway show. Super fierce!
I made a quick search on the web and found three favorites of the ‘matte red lips’ fanatics:
1. Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – Dragon Girl, from Nars.
2. Lipstick Matte – Really Red, from Revlon.
3. Lipstick – Ruby Woo, from MAC.
