I’m a huge Jeff Bridges (a.k.a. The Dude) fan. And now I’m an even bigger fan, since I discovered he’s also an excellent photographer – and has registered the backstage of more than 50 films he starred.

In an old USA Today interview he said: “It gets boring doing one thing. And I get restless. I like to jump from acting to music to the camera. If I’m not creating something, I get tired of myself“.

These amazing pics – and comments – were made during the shooting of True Grit (Coen brothers, 2010). But in the actor’s website you can see more backstage photos from this and many other movies like Crazy Heart, Tron and Iron Man. He also published a photography book in 2003 that must be awesome.

Oh, and he photographs with an old Widelux, that he carries everywhere. <3
